Directx 9c what's going on? 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi All,
I'm hoping for some help on this one please;
Just updated to 1.8 and want to use directx rather than open GL for rendering. MVH constantly asks for directx to be updated even though I am already running directx9c and have been for months .....what the heck is going on with that and how do I fix it?
I'm running xp pro, core 2 duo processor with 1 gig ram and ATI X1400 card in my laptop.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

hey there "drewboyaus',

It is a minor inconvenience but there is a specfic version of 9.0c or later that you need for MVH 1.8 onwards. Check out this page & the link to get the latest version of DirX.

I'm running DirectX 10 but I am still getting the 'Learn more about DirectX' message. What do you recommend?

I am running Build 2176 and the pop-up takes me to the page that says there are updates for September, October, and November 2008. How do I get them installed?

David

I just found an answer supplied by yoguichi. I will download directx_nov2008_redist.exe and see if that fixes the problem.
