Although teleporting may not exist in real life, teleporters will render the staircase obsolete! So, what if MVH had teleporting machines that would move you from one story to another within seconds?

ROFLMAOOOO ... i love it!

Seriously, though ... you could always use a small cupboard (big enough, anyway, to get a couple of people into)... make the door swing outward, or just put an archway instead of a door ... position another one on the upper floor, ... and ditch the staircase if you'd already put one in.

ps the '85 vulcan qasar heater? we never learned about the recall; - ours carked it, hubby paid a small fortune for someone to fix it, the "fix" lasted six weeks ... and i've only JUST gotten him to dump it. he'd formed some weird and quite disturbing attachment to it because it worked so well when it was new!

Heh heh heh...

But on a serious note... as a a person with a disability thinking about design features "friendly" for people with disabilities, I think that options besides stairs would be nice additions to MVH - ramp systems, an elevator, something...

Or perhaps one of the moderators could make an off topic section so that we can talk about anything apart from MVH!

hey 'DAMON1251978',

Agreed - more support for the disabled is important. You've probably already seen the CareDesign bathroom products in the software but they don't extend to the types of product you're looking for.

As I understand it - the task of "lifting" the user from one floor to the next is the difficulty the progs face via the animation of e.g. a lift, though you do see this in all the games.

Maybe "the teleporter" will work guys.

ryan how much of whatever you smoke do you inhale before posting on here sometimes..serouislly . ???

maybe asing for sme ramps and or stair lifts which peope get installed into some houses, but you would find most peope would give up ona ,mutli storey house if they had to deal witha wheel chair and such... they would laos prefer being ina ground house then try to fit a stair lift to the stair case.. as for most two storey places the cost would be a huge limitiing factor....
