Gliderol International Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian manufacturing company established in 1974. Within four years of operation the company had branches in every state of Australia. Core business activity revolved around its continuous steel curtain roller door and unique orbital drive automatic operator.

Sustained growth has seen Gliderol International become the leading manufacturer of light gauge garage doors, employing over 200 staff and operating manufacturing plants in all mainland states of Australia.

The company has diversified from basic roller door manufacturing. Gliderol International is now concentrating on exporting its products and technology around the globe. Our products are suited to both residential and commercial applications. Ranging from residential home garages, to fire rated security shutters, to airport hanger doors, to self-storage facilities. In short, any sizeable opening that needs to be accessed yet secured overnight can utilise a Gliderol product.

Gliderol International operates its head office in South Australia. Nationally the company owns and controls branches in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. Gliderol International also has branches in The United Kingdom and The Peoples Republic of China. A network of Licensee Operations also exist in Western Australia, Saudi Arabia, Dohar Qatar, Abudhabi, Bahrain, Spain, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, USA, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and many others.

Gliderol International manufactures automatic operators associated with a garage door. Our unique orbital drive unit, which is fully housed within the drum of a roller door, has won international recognition along with the stylish, quiet and reliable GTS sectional and tilt door operator. All the automatic operators manufactured by Gliderol International have been designed in Australia and all carry quality certifications.
