Version 1.7 of the MyVirtualHome software was released as an auto update to all MVH users today. This build includes many exciting new features. Dynamic Reflections - When looking in mirrors you can now see the correct reflections. Radiosity Lighting - Previously, all reflected light in MVH was simply ‘white' in colour. With the inclusion of Radiosity, light that is reflected from a surface incorporates a certain amount of coloured light as appropriate to the reflecting surface. The pictures below show before v1.7 on the left and after on the right.
Panasonic Air Conditioning Calculator - With this cool feature you can simply right click on the floor select "Panasonic Aircon Calculator" and it will calcualate what size air conditioner you need for that room. Then click search and hey presto it finds the right size air conditioner for your needs. Wall Frieze - Previously, the frieze could not be moved lower than the top of the wainscot. This limitation has been removed allowing the frieze to ‘cut' the wainscot if they overlap. Previously, setting the position of the frieze to be lower than the height of the wainscot resulted in any portion of the wainscot that would appear above the frieze to be hidden. Better Support for Window Vista - This includes support for the latest DirectX goodies. Email your HomeShare code - When you now save a HomeShare code is will automatically place it onto the clipboard so you can paste it into an email. This makes sharing your plans with family friends and listed businesses even easier. |
